Liberation Weekend was a three-day DIY music festival held across Black Cat and Transmission in Washington, D.C. Featuring predominantly queer and trans artists, the festival raised money for trans rights organizations, including No More Dysphoria and the Gender Liberation Movement. Alongside live music, the event hosted local organizations and community groups, creating a space centered around solidarity, visibility, and mutual support during a time of growing national attacks on trans rights. The images and videos you see here are taken from the second edition of the festival on Day 2, April 25th, 2026.
